Washington Golf Course, Salhouse Road, Sprowston, Norwich, NR13

The Greyhound Owner newspaper also reveals another greyhound racing venue on the outskirts of Norwich. A 290-yard straight course was laid out on the grounds of Washington Golf Course, on Salhouse Road during 1967, with a spot grading scheme in place.

No other information is readily available, but it is thought that harness racing also took place there. The Washington Golf Course lies almost four miles northeast of Norwich City centre.
