The Lincolnshire resort of Skegness first hosted greyhound racing with its first meeting being staged on the 27th of August 1931. An advert from a 1932 advert describes the location being along Burgh Road near the Ship Inn, which still exists today and is situated within a half a mile of the sea front. Unfortunately no further information regarding how it operated or even its exact location remains unavailable.

This local press cutting is dated July 1932.
