Dyehouse Lane, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 9LZ

It is known that a temporary greyhound track was laid amongst the meadows adjacent to Dyehouse Lane during 1952. The venue lay about half a mile west of Glastonbury town centre, at the rear of the old Railway Station.

Yet today the Railway Station does not exist, although Dyehouse Lane still does, but the exact site on where greyhound racing took place has yet to be determined.

The site of the Railway Station is covered by small industries, just west of the mill stream, Dirty Dicks Auto’s is a good pin pointer along with the old Railway Gates.
