Cold Ashby, Northamptonshire

The village of Cold Ashby in Northamptonshire lies 656 feet above sea level, and yet it can boast that it is the highest village in the county. Located twelve miles north of Northampton and ten miles east of Rugby, the village can also claim that it hosted greyhound racing also.

An advert printed in The Greyhound Owner newspaper dated September 1964 indicates the sport took place in the village, but unfortunately no further details of its exact location or even how it operated.

This GO advert is dated September 24th 1964.
