Stradey Park, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire
A third greyhound racing venue has been identified in the South Wales town of Llanelly. It may have been for a brief spell only but greyhound racing featured at Stradey Park during 1929.
Stradey Park is large recreation ground that has staged Cricket Football and Rugby amongst others and is located roughly one mile north west of Llanelly town centre.
Little is known on how events operated, even its exact location remains unidentified.
