Rothwell Town Football Club, Cecil Street, Kettering, Northamptonshire, NN14 6E
Another ex-amateur football ground located in Northamptonshire that has hosted Greyhound Racing, was The Cecil Street Ground, the home of the now defunct Rothwell Town Football Club.
The venue had been home to the club for more than 120 years and was located less than a mile northwest of Rothwell town centre. It is known that Greyhound Racing took place during June 1967, on a 275-yard straight course, and that spot grading was used, yet no other details regarding the sport is available at this moment.
The site of the venue still exists, although the main stand was destroyed by fire during 2013, and Rothwell Town football club themselves folded in 2012.
