The next temporary Greyhound Racing venture described was at Ringwood Football Club in Hampshire. The venue was located just off the B3347 Ringwood to Christchurch Road on Long Lane. The hounds were spot graded before contesting behind a Ball hare type lure over the 250 yard single bend course. The football ground still exists today found roughly one mile south of Ringwood town centre in the small hamlet of Kingston. Adverts from The Greyhound Owner suggest that gatherings took place during the early 1980’s.
