Greyhound Racing took place on the outskirts of Birmingham at a venue known as Druids Lane, not far from The Maypole roundabout on the A435. Druids lane is located three miles north of junction 3 of the M42, in the vicinity of Druids Heath seven miles south of Birmingham city centre. All is known is that it took place during August 1982 on a straight course, and that the hounds taking part had been spot graded.
