The Showground, Lincoln LN2 2NA
The Agricultural Show Ground became another of Lincoln’s Greyhound Racing venues, that would operate under temporary license, organised by the Lincoln Ball Hare Promotions.
Today the location is now known as the Lincolnshire Showground and is found three miles north of the city centre just west of the A15 just before the A1500 turn off.
Meetings are found to have taken place during the summer of 1970. Spot grading was used to grade the hounds, who would later contest over a straight course. Like all these temporary venue in Lincoln, a ball type hare was used as the lure.
