Another one of the Leicestershire temporary greyhound tracks, was the one found in the town of Syston, a small town situated roughly six miles northeast of Leicester.
Syston was also home to a permanent greyhound track which is situated about half a mile east of its town centre, having been constructed on land left behind by the abandoned Lodge Farm.
A cutting from The Greyhound Owner dated August 1950 points out that temporary meetings had been staged, mainly for charity reasons, on a field adjacent to the stadium. Its exact positioning is not clear and whether it was repeated still remains a mystery.
