Castle Combe, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 7EY
The early 1980’s had seen Greyhound Racing being staged at Castle Combe, a village located five miles northwest of Chippenham in Wiltshire.
It is known that a 250-to-300-yard straight course lay in a meadow alongside the B4039, opposite Castle Combe Motor Racing Circuit. The hounds were spot graded and would contest behind a ball hare type lure.
