Kings Norton Rugby Club, Ash Lane, Alvechurch, Hopwood, Birmingham B48 7BD

The West Midlands surprisingly could not be classed as hotbed for Greyhound Racing, but one of its few flip tracks was found at the Kings Norton Rugby Ground on Ash Lane, Hopwood, a venue situated less than half a mile north of junction 2 of the M42.

Operations took place during May 1982 with spot graded hounds contesting over a straight course. Further information regarding on how events were staged, and how long the sport lasted, still remains unavailable.

This advert is dated April 1982. Sorry for poor quality image will redo in the near future.
