Gorse Hill is a district found within half a mile north east of Swindon town centre in Wiltshire. It is in this district that Greyhound Racing featured during 1930 and 1931, at a venue just off Edinburgh Street. The venue in question was the home of Corinthians Football Club, who’s pitch was encircled by a track that would create a racing distance of 500 yards. Little else is known, as the football ground no longer exists, although a much smaller recreation ground on Edinburgh Street pinpoints the site.
