The Greyhound Owner newspaper also reveals another greyhound racing venue on the outskirts of Norwich. A 290 yard straight course was laid out on the grounds of Washington Golf Course, on Salhouse Road during 1967, with a spot grading scheme in place. No other information is ready available, but it is thought that harness racing also took place there. The Washington Golf Course lies almost four miles north east of Norwich City centre.
