The Bedfordshire town of Kempston lies two miles south of Bedford, and it is in this location that the Box End Greyhound and Whippet track operated. The venue operated for just a brief spell only, with a number of meetings being staged during 1932 and 1933 and 1934. It is known that the district of Box End is located north west of Kempston, yet its exact location and other facilities remains vague. It is known that the hounds raced over 325 yards, while the Whippets and other dog breeds contested over 200 yards.
