The Northamptonshire town of Rushden becomes the next chapter to discuss a temporary greyhound track. The venue was the towns football ground, at Hayden Road situated less than a mile east of Rushden town centre.
The venue was constructed in 1922 and still remains today with Rushden and Higham United Football Club making it their home.
It is known that Greyhound Racing took place during July 1967 on a track that surrounded the pitch.
