Skegness Cricket Ground, Richmond Drive, Skegness PE25

The Lincolnshire seaside resort of Skegness seems to be mentioned quite a number of times regarding temporary greyhound racing venues. This chapter covers the one at the Skegness Cricket Ground that was situated near the railway station very close to Skegness town centre.

This temporary venue took place during the Summer of 1983 on a two-bend course that was set up to host 100 yard and 325-yard events. It is known that the hounds were spot graded and that they chased a Ball hare type lure. No other further details regarding how long it operated for is available.
