A greyhound track run by the Lincoln Greyhound Racing Association was called The Rope Walk. Its first meeting came on the 4th of June 1932, with two meetings being held during the day, with one staged in the afternoon, the other in the evening. Its exact location is not clear but it is though the venue is were the University lies todayjust south west of the city.
