Cowper Road, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire CB1

The University city of Cambridge has seen Greyhound Racing at a handful of venues, with this next temporary track discussed in this chapter being located just off Cowper Road.

An advert from July 1928 indicates possible start of racing on a Cowper Lane venue.

In April 1931 greyhounds and whippets made up the card with the whippets racing over 275 yards and the hounds over the 300- and 500-yard trip.

It is yet to be determined where this actual location was, but Cowper Road lies one and a half miles southeast of Cambridge city centre.
