The University city of Cambridge has seen Greyhound Racing at a handful of venues, with this next temporary track discussed in this chapter being located just off Cowper Road. It was during 1931 that greyhounds and whippets contested here with the whippets racing over 275 yards and the hounds over the 300 and 500 yard trip. It is yet to be determined were this actual location was, but Cowper Road lies one and a half miles south east of Cambridge city centre.
