Bedford Road, Yardley Hastings, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN7
The Northamptonshire village of Yardley Hastings is located seven miles southeast of Northampton. Early meetings can be found during 1934 and it is known that the venue continued to host meetings right up until 1949.
A betting licence press cutting suggests that the greyhound racing track was located 500 yards from the village just off Bedford Road but does not make it clear which direction.
My assessment of the location was in a field on the north side of The A428 Bedford Road East, just short of the junction with B5388. I would also add that there is unlikely any evidence remains from this venue.
