Leeming Bar, Northallerton, DL7

It is known that a temporary greyhound track was laid in the vicinity of Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire.

The village of Leeming Bar lies twelve miles north of Ripon east of the A1, with a cutting from a Greyhound Owner newspaper suggesting that greyhound racing took place during October 1952. It may have operated in previous seasons.
