The village of Weldon lies two miles east of Corby in Northamptonshire. Adverts printed in The Greyhound Owner newspaper during 1963 confirms greyhound racing took place about a mile south east of the village along Oundle Road. Distances varied from 360 to 470 yards with a Ball hare trackless hare used as its lure. Its exact location or even how long it lasted has yet to be determined.
