Old House Lane, Roydon, Essex CM19

Roydon is a small village located in the Epping Forest district of the County of Essex. The village is located 1.5 miles west of Harlow, 3.5 miles east of Hoddesdon and 4.6 miles north-west of Epping.

A Greyhound Owner newspaper advert show greyhound racing took place at a venue just off Old House Lane found about a mile south of the village during July 1963. Events were run over a 250-yard straight course, and it is presumed that a drag hare was used as the lure.
