4 miles from Romford, off B173, near Camelot Pub

Lambourne End is located approximately 5 miles northwest of Romford in Essex. This greyhound racing venue was thought to be located just off the B173 on Hoe Lane at the rear of the Camelot Public House (now known as The Miller & Carter).

The track had an uphill 280-yard gallop which consisted of a banked bend after the first 180 yards. An outside drag hare was the lure, with the 40 feet wide track constructed on a peat and grass surface.

The first full meeting was staged on May 29th 1993 with events staged over 161 and 256 metres, 160 racegoers attended. but unfortunately, no bookmakers turned up. It is not known how long events were staged for, but it is certain that the venue returned back to being used as just grazing land.
